Nottingham Cats Protection is appealing for people who can take feral cats off staff members' hands to get in touch.
The adoption centre, based on New Farm Lane in Nuthall, has had an influx of wild cats lately and has more waiting to be picked up when they get space.

Lola Suter, who works at the centre, said: "Farms are ideal.

"They would be happy living in stables as long as they were warm, had somewhere dry to sleep and were well fed. They are self-sufficient cats."

Feral cats have often been abandoned and have therefore been wild for a long time.

Nottingham Cats Protection will have the animals neutered before they are re-homed.

Anyone who can help should ring the centre before 3pm on 0115 938 6557.
