THE MAYOR of Eastwood's civic service is being held this weekend.
Cllr Keith Longdon's service is being held at St Mary's Church on Sunday at 3pm. There will be presentations given by several Eastwood schools, Eastwood Army Cadets and the 1st Eastwood Brownies and Guides.
Rev David Stevenson will lead the service and lay minister Cllr Peter Butler will be lead the intercessions.
There will be a collection after the service for the Mayor's chosen charity, the lung function unit at Nottingham City Hospital and Age Concern, Eastwood.
A light buffet will be served after the service in the church hall. Everybody is welcome.
