Two exhibitions are being held to give residents the chance to find out more about Lafarge Cement UK's plans to use sewage sludge-derived fuel at its Hope Works site.
The company is applying for permission to use 'Processed Sewage Pellets' to help reduce its carbon footprint and reduce energy costs.

People can find out more at exhibitions at Lafarge Social Club, off Pindale Road, next Friday from 4-7pm and next Saturday from 10am til noon.
