This is a photo of H Robinson’s general store in Nottingham Road, Eastwood.

The people pictured in the doorway are Mr Ernest Holmes and Mr H Robinson. When Mr Robinson died in 1938 Mr Ernest Holmes took over the business.

It then changed from a general store to a confectioners.
