Thanks for Tree Appeal success
Sir,
The Eastwood Funeral Partnership would like to thank everyone who participated in making our 2011 Christmas Remembrance Tree Appeal such a success.
Throughout December, people were invited to place a message on the Christmas tree at any of our four funeral homes.
Nearly 200 messages were placed on the trees at our Eastwood and Kimberley Funeral Homes, and we pledged to donate £1 to our local Air Ambulance charities for each message on the tree.
In addition, many people who visited us or sent their messages via our website gave a donation, and this year we collected a staggering £1,200.
We have decided to match this amount, and have therefore donated £1,200 to both the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance, and the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.
Thank you again to everyone who helped to raise these vital funds to keep our Air Ambulances flying.
