Step back in time at Quad

Derby arts centre and cinema Quad are offering the chance to step back in time during June and July with a season of classic re-issued films called Back in Cinemas.

Student short films are to be screened

Unique footage of flights over the Arctic Circle, horror and suspense shorts, and social documentaries will feature in the University of Derby’s annual showcase of final year students’ films.

Shane Meadows’ highly anticipated documentary The Stone Roses: Made of Stone will be shown at Showcase Cinema de Lux Westfield on Thursday, May 30, at 7.30pm.

Half-term fun and games are planned at Quad

Family friendly film screenings and young people’s workshops will be on offer at arts centre Quad in Derby during the May half-term holiday.
