In For The Kill’s tribute to Budgie

In For the Kill, the tribute to the seminal Welsh heavy metal combo, Budgie, play two gigs in the area over the next couple of weeks.

On Saturday August 11, they appear at the Eagle Tavern, Heage, and a week later on Saturday, August 18, the band will play the Davy Lamp, Ilkeston.

Budgie were a major influence on many of the world’s biggest rock bands and their music has been covered by luminaries such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Van Halen and Soundgarden.

They are best described as Rush playing Black Sabbath and AC/DC songs.

Admission to both gigs is free and the band will be onstage at 9.15pm. More information is available from Metal Mansions Promotions on 07903 610487.
