Oasis tribute at Flowerpot

Colin Blunstone

Colin Blunstone

FANS of the Gallagher brothers are in for a treat when tribute band Ohasis make an appearance at The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, February 17.

The band will be recalling the golden days of Britpop with all those classic tracks that made Oasis the biggest thing to come out of Manchester in many a year.

Then, on Saturday, February 18, there’s a visit to the King Street venue by the Colin Blunstone Band.

Ever since the 1960s, Colin Blunstone has managed to combine his successful career with The Zombies with his solo tours and material and still remains a creative force after all these years.

His voice is highly distinctive and loved by his many fans and he has a wide range of material to choose from for this latest visit to the area.

Dove And Boweevil are the latest performers in the free Acoustic Wednesdays, in the bar from 9pm, and will perform there on Wednesday, February 22.

The week’s entertainment is rounded off on Thursday, February 23, with the latest appearance by popular veteran rock band The Strawbs, here playing an acoustic set.

Doors open at 8pm and admission is £8 (£7 concessions) for Ohasis, £14 for the Colin Blunstone Band and £13 for The Acoustic Strawbs.
