AMY MacDonald plus special guests are to appear at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on Thursday, November 1, and tickets to see her there are now on sale.

One of Europe’s biggest selling singer songwriters, Amy MacDonald returned this summer with a brand new album Life In A Beautiful Light.

The album is riding high in the charts around Europe and now she has announced her first tour of the year.

Life In A Beautiful Light was recorded between State of the Ark Studios in Richmond and Mayfield Studio in Surrey and produced by Amy’s long-term collaborator and manager, Pete Wilkinson, and mixed by the legendary Bob Clearmountain.

Amy Macdonald has sold over four million albums worldwide and has played to over half a million fans over the last few years.

Her debut album This Is The Life charted at number one in five countries and her second A Curious Thing hit the Top 10 in ten countries across Europe. Her debut was a phenomenal success across Europe and received the following Awards: 5 x Platinum in Switzerland, 4xPlatinum in Germany, 3 x Platinum in France and Netherlands, 2 x Platinum in Belgium and UK, Platinum in Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Poland, Spain and Sweden and Gold in Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Norway and Russia.

This Is The Life is one of the top 20 best selling albums of all time in the UK by a UK female solo artist and was one of the Top Ten best selling albums in Europe in 2008. Also in 2011, Amy won the coveted Echo award for best international female beating Adele, Katy Perry, Pink and Rihanna.
