Boogie Nights on tour

The stars of Boogie Nights will be strutting their stuff on stage at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on February 12, giving audience members a real blast from the past

Jimmy, Merrill and Jay Osmond, Gareth Gates, Louisa Lytton, Andy Abraham, Chico and Shane Richie Junior are performing Boogie Nights - The 70s Musical In Concert as part of a 50-date tour around the UK.

Boogie Nights was the West En musical, conceived by Jon Conway and Shane Richie in 1997, and followed the hilarious and heart-warming story of Roddy O’Neil. Set in a provincial British town in the height of the disco 70s, it completed five UK tours after its London success and has also toured the world.

Join the gang for a fantastic evening’s entertainment featuring live music, multimedia and no less than 70 of your favourite hit songs from the 70s.

The Osmomds have returned from the USA as special guest stars, performing not just their own hits such as Crazy Horses and Love Me For A Reason, but also a range of classic hits.

Jimmy Osmond said: “I’m thrilled to once again be a part of the amazing energy of this great show. My brothers, Merrill and Jay and I had so much fun on our 2012 record-breaking tour, I’m excited they have agreed to join in on the fun and continue the party! They are really looking forward to doing a little something different than our usual concert appearances.”

The all star line up also features a theatrical first when Shane Richie Junior takes over the role of Roddy, as created by his father, the original 70s bad boy. It is the first time a role created by an actor has been inherited by his son and 22-year-old Shane Junior aims to be a real chip off the old block as he powers through hits such as Blame It on the Boogie.

With a cast of 15 musicians, singers and dancers Boogie Nights – the 70’s Musical in Concert features all your favourites.
