Animal magic at Guildhall
The People’s Theatre Company will be performing The Elephant Bridesmaid, by Steven Lee, at Derby’s Guildhall Theatre.
The performance takes place on Monday, February 18, at 2.30pm.
Written especially for parents to enjoy with their children, The Elephant Bridesmaid is a magical musical about weddings and wombats, not to mention the loveliest elephant that the world has ever known.
Based on a story from the best selling book How The Koala Learnt To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales, this delightful show has just the right balance of games, songs and heartwarming elephant antics to make any day feel like your special day.
So make sure you join Nessie the Elephant and her fantastic animal friends and help them as they go in search of an outfit fancy enough (and large enough) to make her the Australian jungle’s most beautiful Elephant Bridesmaid!
The show is perfect for those aged 4–104.
As an extra treat, popular children’s author Steven Lee will be available to sign copies of his book How The Koala Learnt To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales, which will be on sale at a specially reduced rate after the show.
Tickets are priced at £10.75 (under 16s £9.75) and are available from the Derby LIVE box office on 01332 255800.
