Christmas show to weave magic

Derby Theatre, in association with Birmingham Stage Company, will present E. B. White’s popular story Charlotte’s Web at the venue this Christmas.

Following previous years’ crowd-pleasing Christmas show successes, Derby Theatre will uphold the tradition for presenting first-class Christmas shows for the whole family when they will cast a web of enchantment over the young and young at heart and present one of the most popular children’s stories of all time.

Charlotte’s Web can be seen from December 7 to January 11.

A young girl called Fern befriends Wilbur, a pig. Wilbur is no ordinary pig and needs to be saved from becoming Christmas dinner.

To the rescue comes a witty spider called Charlotte who conjures up a miraculous plan which they hope will keep him alive.
