OVER £2m grant aid cash for the voluntary sector has been set aside in next year’s Nottinghamshire County Council budget.
This means the grant aid pot has increased by £50,000.
For the first time the majority of the grants have been awarded over a three-year period, giving organisations greater security.
Of those organisations who applied for grant aid, 58 have had their funding maintained, 31 organisations have had their funding increased and 13 have their funding reduced.
A further 28 new groups are also being allocated a grant.
