30 officers start work

A CEREMONY was held this week to confirm 30 new police officers in Nottinghamshire.

The student officers gathered with family and friends at the Arrow Centre in Hucknall to receive certificates from the force’s Chief Constable Julia Hodson.

They have spent the last two years training and completing the foundation degree in policing to which every new police officer in Nottinghamshire now works.

Two officers, one from each cohort of students, were also awarded the Chief Constable’s Award for Outstanding Achievement – Pc Andrea Brown and Pc David Allcock.
