CHILDREN at Awsworth Primary School dressed in 50s, 60s and 70s gear for the day to mark the end of a history project they have been taking part in.
The pupils have been studying Britain since 1948 for the last few weeks and dressed up for the day on Monday.
Helen Crowfoot went into the school to show the kids some artifacts and slides to do with the 50s and 60s.
The project also included watching videos, looking at various clips on the internet and studying key events such as Live Aid in the 1980s.
Teacher Louise Bignall said the children loved dressing up.
“They had great fun and we had some really amazing costumes,” she said.
