Bookies raid: Two charged

Two men have been arrested and charged with the armed robbery at Ladbrokes in Eastwood.
Dominic Wright, 19, and Jody Fullwood, 25, both from Eastwood have been charged with robbery and possessing a firearm.

They have been remanded in custody and will both appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on April 23.

At about 9.10pm on Wednesday, March 26 robbers escaped with £6,000 after they held the bookies up with a handgun.

Four offenders entered the shop on Nottingham Road, Eastwood,
Two of the men jumped over the counter and one of them allegedly threatened a member of staff with a black gun and demanded money.

The employee handed over £6,000 cash before all men left the shop and ran off towards Wellington Street.
