Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglar walked into a Brinsley home and stole a set of car keys before running off.
The offender walked in through an unlocked front door at a house in Broadoak Drive at around 6.45pm on Monday April 28.

Once inside the male burglar stole some keys, which belong to a 4X4 vehicle, off a table, before fleeing.

The male occupant then chased the offender, however the man was last seen running up a lane towards Brinsley Primary School.

The burglar is aged between 15 and 16-years-old, had short fair hair and was wearing a black jacket and black trousers.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to anyone with information.

Officers would also like to identify a Vauxhall Nova, which was seen to turn into the property's drive moments before the keys were taken.

Do you think there is room for development in our area, or do you agree with protesters that it's being turned into a "brick jungle"?
No more development, we're losing our beautiful countryside.
The protesters are overreacting
