Childen worked with a cartoonist to celebrate World Book Day last week.
Pupils at Awsworth Primary School came to school dressed in their pyjamas with their favourite bed time story.

Cartoonist Andy Gilbert worked with the children throughout the day and hopped from class-to-class helping them draw their favourite cartoon characters.

Teachers held story telling sessions throughout the day and children were all given a £1 voucher to put towards a new book of their choice.
School office manager Teresa Green said: "It was lovely and we've got all the cartoon drawings up in the classrooms."
