Chance to show off your green fingers

Keen gardeners can display the results of their hard work as Watnall Allotments and Gardens Association host their annual show.
It is open to members and their families at the Royal Oak on Main Road on Sunday, September 14. New members are especially encouraged to take part with specially arranged classes.
Viewing is available from 12noon and there will be a grand auction of surplus flowers, cakes and vegetables at 1.30pm.
The waiting list for allotments has grown to include more than 20 names.
