South East Derbyshire College is holding two open evenings for young people planning their further education after GCSE's next summer.
Teaching, student support and careers guidance staff will be on hand at the open evenings when potential students can also look around the facilities at the two main campuses in Ilkeston and Heanor.

The Heanor campus in Mundy Street will be open on Tuesday October 21 between 5pm to 7pm for students interested in art and design, business studies, ICT, media and science.

And the Ilkeston campus in Field Road will be open on Thursday October 23 between 5pm and 7pm for those interested in beauty and hairdressing, construction, care, sport, public services and motor vehicle.

South East Derbyshire College Acting Principal Phil Fone said: "We offer the widest choice of vocational courses locally whether that is young people wanting to do level three vocational programmes with their sights set on university or those who are not so confident about their GCSE results and are looking for a fresh start in an environment that supports them all the way."
