TALENTED teenagers showed off their creations after a week-long bead workshop.
Bead It was run by local artist and designer Anna Roebuck as part of Eastwood Arts Festival.

Jewellery and decorative pieces made by the young people went on show and were sold at a civic reception held at Gallery 37 on Scargill Walk.

They used beads of different shapes and sizes to create pieces for display and sale.

Eastwood Mayor Cllr Brian Griffin and Broxtowe Mayor Cllr Pat Lally both visited the gallery.

Cllr Griffin said: "The imaginative designs and unique styles of presentation and quality workmanship is to be admired.

"It is encouraging to see talented young people showing initiative and embracing new challenges which will no doubt bring deserved rewards."

Leader of the workshop Anna Roebuck said: "The group have worked really hard and shown flair and imagination as well as having great fun."
