Eastwood cancer survivor Patricia Hallam's ultimate wish is for her donation to be used to stop the disease.
Patricia was diagnosed with stage 3 aggressive breast cancer in 2006. But after intensive treatment she has been given the all-clear and decided she wanted to give something back.

With the help of husband Shaun and Tony and Diane, the stewards of Eastwood Conservative Club, she held a series of fundraisers in aid of Cancer Research UK and the Nottingham City Breast Institute.

She raised a total of £2,251 for Cancer Research through hosting a charity night with auction and raffle, sponsorship for the Race for Life and proceeds from an Ann Summers party at The Gallery.

Patricia has thanked all her family, friends and businesses, including Boots, Co-op, Hilltop Florist, The Gallery, The Lord Nelson, Pizza Paz and even Aston Villa FC.

And she thanked all involved with the Conservative Club and Glebe House for helping to raise £650 for the Nottingham City Breast Institute.

Patricia said: "She hopes this money will help in some way, that no-one will have to suffer cancer in the future."
