A Kimberley man has been jailed after he threatened to shoot a group of Asian men in a Nottingham bar.
Kevin Eason, 36, of Church Hill, Kimberley, and Clifford Rogers, 18, of Sturgeon Avenue, Clifton, were sentenced to 18 months in custody.

Nottiingham Crown Court heard how the pair made also racist comments about the men and threatened to hit them with a bottle in the Bentinck Hotel on September 19.

Rogers then headbutted one of their victims.

Eason had previous convictions for assault, possession of an offensive weapon, aiding and abetting reckless driving, aggravated vehicle taking, criminal damage, dangerous driving and disorderly conduct, the court heard.

Rogers had been cautioned for common assault in 2006.

No more development, we're losing our beautiful countryside.
The protesters are overreacting
