CONSERVATIVES in Kimberley, Awsworth and Trowell have selected their county council candidate in the shape of local councillor Shane Easom.
Kimberley born and bred, Shane went to school in the town and now runs a packaging business there. He is a well-known member of Kimberley Town Council and the Save Our Brewery Site campaign (SOBS).

Shane has also been involved in charitable work taking supplies out to Romanian orphanages and more recently helping to build homes for victims of the Tsunami in Thailand.

Shane said: "People in Kimberley, Trowell and Awsworth need a real voice in County Hall and someone who will be part of a team giving value for money.

"Labour has mismanaged the county council for over twenty years and it¹s time for a change locally as well as nationally."

The protesters are overreacting
