If you would like to improve your French skills a beginners' French course in Eastwood is being run from 10 July for five weeks.
Courses are free if you are in receipt of a means tested benefit.

Even if the sun doesn't shine this summer, you can learn a new skill with Castle College's Adult & Community Education (ACE) Summer School.
Starting on 30 June, the summer school offers you the chance to take a taster course in a variety of exciting subjects.

The courses range from one day to a number of evenings and are all are based at Castle College's People's Campus on Maid Marian Way
You can learn a new language with French, Spanish, Arabic and British Sign Language all for absolute beginners. Hone your artistic skills with Sketching, Drawing Techniques & Watercolours.

Computing for Beginners includes options on Word Processing, Databases, Spreadsheets, Powerpoint, Desk Top, Publishing, Online Communication units of CLAIT.

Other courses are Minute Taking and the Construction Health & Safety Certificate (CSCS).
