Rider dies in accident

A motorcyclist who died in a crash on the Via Gellia Road near Cromford has been named.
Barnabas Beddows from Giltbrook was involved in an accident on Saturday at 2.40pm.

The 43-year-old was riding a Black Suzuki.

Police are appealing for the rider of amotorcycle, believed to be on the road at the time, to contact them to help piece together what happened.

Anyone with information which may help the police investigation are asked to call Pc Pete Matthewman on the 24-hour incident hotline on 01773 572929.
