Two men have been charged with burglary after separate Eastwood break-ins.
Sean Colin Annable of Queen Square, Eastwood and Anthony Christopher Bailey of Worksop, both 24, were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday after police responded to reports of an alarm going off at the Greasley Miners Welfare on Dovecote Road, Newthorpe.

They were also charged in connection with a burglary at Harsco Track Technologies on Chewton Street, Eastwood at 4.20am on August 27.

Annable and Bailey were remanded in custody and at the time of going to press they were expected to appear at court.

After a series of commercial burglaries, Insp John Lees of Eastwood Police Station urged commercial premises to mark their property and contact their local beat team who can give advice on security measures.
