Appeal for guests at ball

The Mayor of Broxtowe is appealing to the people of Eastwood and Kimberley to buy a ticket for her charity ball.

Jacky Williams will be raising money for the Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and the Youth Café, Stapleford, when she hosts the Mayor’s annual charity ball next month.

“We need your support and so do the children who will be helped by the money we raise,” she said.

There will be a three course meal and coffee, music and dancing to the Feds and a charity raffle with prizes in aid of her two chosen charities.

The ball, held at the Belfry Hotel near Nuthall for the first time, will be held on April 21 from 7pm.

Tickets cost £32.
