Groups and organisations are invited to apply for funds to help support young people’s activities in Langley Mill and Aldercar.
Amber Valley Borough Council is seeking applications for the Langley Mill & Aldercar Young People’s Activity Grant Scheme, which is funded through ASDA’s section 106 contribution.
The scheme will provide grants up to a maximum of £1,000 to fund activities or events for people up to the age of 18 that will help to strengthen community links in the area.
The grant panel will favour projects that have attracted other sources of funding or in-kind donations. Because the scheme wishes to support a wide range of activity, organisations and groups that have previously gained funds from the scheme are asked not to apply to this round of funding.
Projects must demonstrate regeneration benefits for the area by achieving at least one of the following priorities: improving the health of children and young people, developing eventsor festivals, providing value for money; helping to reduce crime; encouraging Access for All
