More than 50 people turned out to walk the proposed tram route through Kimberley.

Held on February 9, the walk from Phoenix Park through Kimberley was organised by the Kimberley, Eastwood and Nuthall Tram Action Group KENTAG – set up to campaign for the tram to come to Eastwood and Kimberley.

Cllr Richard Robinson said it was the biggest turnout of all the walks that had been organised in the past.

The Kimberley councillor said he was hoping to hear news regarding funding for the feasibility study this month. This will confirm costings and the precise route, he said.
