A COUNTY-WIDE initiative has been launched to encourage cyclists to wear helmets.
The Nottinghamshire Road Safety Partnership has launched the initiative this week to tie in with the United Nations global campaign called Decade of Action for Road Safety and the Headway charity’s Action for Brain Injury Week.
The road safety partnership has launched an online survey about bike safety and travelling on Nottinghamshire’s roads.
People who take part have the opportunity to win helmets worth £50.
The results will be used to improve bike safety programmes. Visit www.research.net/s/thinkbikenotts.
