Borough council holds charity ball

A CHARITY ball will be held by Broxtowe Borough Council in March.

The theme for the ball will be the forties and the borough Mayor, Cllr Pat Lally, will be raising money for his two chosen charities, the Parish Pantry in Beeston and a hospital in Nigeria.

Cllr Lally said: “These charities are both very close to my heart and I hope as many people as possible will join me and support them.”

Raffle prizes include an £800 front door, return first class East Midlands Train tickets, Boots beauty hampers and VIP tickets to the Moorgreen Show.

The ball on March 12 will be held in Nottingham. Tickets are £30. Call 0115 917 3210.
