A NUTHALL and Kimberley charity group raised £12,700 during the past financial year.
The figures were announced at the tenth annual general meeting of the Nuthall and Kimberley Cancer Research UK branch.
Money was raised through different fundraising events.
The sale of Easter chicks made £4,300, an open house event held in November 2010 raised £2,000 while another £1,000 was raised at flag days.
Collecting boxes at shops in the local area, donations made in memoriam and the sale of Christmas cards also contributed to the total.
Future events were planned and committee members thanked.
