LADBROKES betting shop in Eastwood has raised yet more cash for charity.

Staff at the shop in Nottingham Road raised the money from the Bonus Ball game and a grand raffle and will be donating £400 to the children’s charity, Wish Upon A Star.

Since shop manager Beryl Slater launched her charity efforts ten years ago, along with her staff, she has raised over £25,000 for various charities.

“I would like to thank our generous customers who have dug deep to support us,” she said.

Staff involved in the latest initiative included Janet Clarke, Margaret Turner, Carla Heley and Maureen Wakefield.
