LADBROOKEs betting shop in Eastwood held a charity fun day and raised £300 for the British Heart Foundation.

Staff put on a gaming tournament, a buffet and raffle and provided free gos on the lottery.

Local artist Steve Reeve sold some of his work on the day and also donated the money to charity.

Since beginning her fundraising 15 years ago, Ladbrookes manager Beryl Slater has raised £25,000 for different charities.

“I would like to thank everyone at Ladbrookes, in particular the customers, and Steve Reeve whose support has been admirable,” said Mrs Slater.
