Morrisons supermarket in Eastwood has launched the appeal for its new charity for the year.
The store will be raising money for Save The Children along with all other 450 Morrisons supermarkets nationwide.
Staff will be selling Save the Children wristbands and collection tins will be in store and in the company’s petrol stations and customer cafés.
All the funds raised will support the charity’s work to ensure that children across the UK get the best start in life through its Families and Schools Together programme.
The programme encourages parents to stimulate learning outside of school.
