Children made Chinese opera masks in half-term craft workshops.
The kids got crafty at Durban House in Eastwood for the holiday activity workshops while they were off school last week.
The sessions marked the Chinese New Year, celebrated in February, and were held by the East Midlands Chinese Brush Painting Society.
Children also made rabbit masks for Easter and had a go at silk painting.
There were tours of the DH Lawrence Birthplace Museum in Victoria Street throughout the week and cooking courses were also held in Nuthall.
Blueberries Junior Cooking Company ran a course of cookery classes at the Temple Centre in Nottingham Road.
Details of future cookery workshops can be found at www.juniorcooking.co.uk.
