KIMBERLEY Pensioners’ Association’s 60th anniversary year ended on a high note with a Christmas party at the Gateway Hotel.

Invited to the bash were Kimberley Town Council chairman Roy Plumb and his wife Eileen, Broxtowe deputy Mayor Margaret Handley and past president of the association, Walter Chadwick.

Cllr Handley presented a cheque for £100 to group president Anne Carr and members enjoyed a three course meal before being entertained by Kimberley swing singer, Frankie Martin. New members wanting to join should call 938 5362.
