A 55-YEAR-OLD man was left with a broken leg after three burglars raided his home in Trowell last night.
The three attackers set upon the man as he entered a bungalow at Spring Farm, in Trowell Moor, at about 11.30pm.
He was pushed to the ground and threatened.
Police revealed the burglars escaped with a quantity of cash.
They were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre following the robbery. He remains there in a stable condition.
No one else was injured in the incident.
Detectives are currently investigating the possibility that this may have been a targeted attack.
