Copper piping stolen from old pub

Thieves stole copper piping from under the floorboards of a disused pub in Langley Mill — and a quad bike from outside.

They also took radiators off the walls at the Durham Ox, but left them on the floor.

The burglary happened between 5pm on Thursday, July 28, and 8am on Friday, July 29.

Police say the raiders kicked their way in through a panel on the back door of the property to get in.

They smashed an internal door to get upstairs and steal the copper piping.

The quad bike, a purple Barossa Relentless, was stored at the rear of the pub.
