A POLICE officer described Greasley’s crime figures as ‘fantastic’ in a recent council meeting.
Pc Dean Spalding said crime had reduced in the parish by ten per cent compared with last year. He said it reduced 20 per cent the year before, giving the area an overall 30 per cent reduction in crime in the last two years.
The officer spoke at the latest Greasley Parish Council meeting and gave figures for the financial year end.
Crime in Nottinghamshire as a whole reduced by 14 over the year and has now got the lowest crime levels since 1981.
