LIGHTS will be put in Coronation Park so anti-social youths can be spotted at night.
Funding has been agreed by Broxtowe Borough Council after residents’ complaints about the anti-social behaviour on the park.
At an Eastwood Town Council meeting on Monday night Nottingham Road resident Maria Kirk said she had seen groups of up to 60 youths hanging around the park.
She said: “They pull up the rubbish bins and terrify the little kids on the play park.
“We can see because we’re directly across the road.
“There are hoards and hoards of youths wandering around fighting and pulling up the furniture at times.”
Mrs Kirk said herself and her neighbours report the incidents to the police.
