POLICE are hunting three men after a teenage girl was approached in a ‘suspicious incident’ in Kimberley.
The 15-year-old was walking home near to the brewery in Hardy Street, when a small dark-coloured vehicle pulled up beside her, between 8.50pm and 9pm on Thursday.
The three men in the vehicle made gestures to her, and asked her to go over to the car, but she ran off through a cut through in Norman Street.
A police spokesperson said: “We are currently treating this as a suspicious incident while we carry out a number of enquiries, including house-to-house. We are urging local people who may have seen anything to come forward.
“We don’t know what the men in the car wanted but their actions made the girl feel the need to call the police.
“She was not injured and reported what happened, so we are keen to trace the men in the vehicle and locate the car.”
One of the men is described as white, of chubby build, wearing a tracksuit, with greasy hair. The driver is described as white, aged around 20, with a bald head and big nose.
