Men charged with store robberies

Two Eastwood men have been charged with alleged robberies at three stores in the area.

The pair, in their early twenties, are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court in January.

They are charged with a raid on the Co-op store in Langley Mill on June 26, a similar offence at the Eastwood branch of Morrison’s on June 30 and a robbery at the Spar shop and Texaco garage in Loscoe on July 9.

The men were charged on Monday, October 29 after being interviewed by detectives from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

They are currently in custody.
