Luminita Dumitru left her home in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, on 11 August 2012 and has been missing for nearly three months.

Concern is growing for a 14-year-old Ilkeston girl who has been missing for nearly three months.

Luminita Dumitru left her home in the town on 11 August to travel to Nottingham, where she previously lived.

She has not been seen or heard from since and police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Luminita, who is originally from Romania, is of Middle Eastern appearance. She is around 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build, and has long, black hair.

Police have been carrying out extensive enquiries to find Luminita since she was reported missing but are now appealing for the public’s help to find her.

Inspector Gurmit Kaur said: “I am confident someone will have seen Luminita or know where she is.

“I urge anyone with information to get in touch with police so we can make sure she is safe and well.”

Anyone with information should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
