Customer service recognised for second year

BROXTOWE Borough Council has retained a prestigious customer services award for the second year running.

The Mayor of Broxtowe Cllr Jacky Williams will present the award and a cake to employees to celebrate the Institute of Customer Services (ICS) ServiceMark Award.

Broxtowe was one of the first local authorities to receive the award in February 2010.

In a customer satisfaction survey Broxtowe Borough Council achieved an overall score of 81.1 per cent and was rated ‘excellent’ – a result which placed it well above the national average.

Leader of the council, Cllr Milan Radulovic, said: “The council is proud to have come through several months of challenging appraisal and to have been recognised once again with such a prestigious award.”
