Marie Curie in Main Street is appealing to individuals, groups and organisations to help raise vital funds to pay for nurses that look after terminally people.
Janette Martindale said: “In the past people have held bake-offs at work, organised sponsored walks or put on a quiz night or disco. We even have supporters who have cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats or had all their hair shaved off. We are grateful for anything.”
