Domestic violence hosts open day

A support group for people who suffer domestic violence in the Eastwood and Kimberley area is holding an open day at the Dora Philips Hall.

Broxtowe Women’s Project – which has offices in Eastwood and Stapleford – wants to give people the chance to find out more about local services and how they can get help.

Broxtowe Mayor Iris White will be attending and there will be stalls offering information from Broxtowe Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Eastwood Volunteer Bureau, Local NHS, Young Potential, Eastwood Police, and Broxtowe Borough Council Community Safety Team.

The open day will be held on September 26 from 1.30pm til 3pm.
