A £105,000 deal struck by Broxtowe Borough Council and The University of Nottingham has saved Durban House.

The centre’s future has been uncertain for three years because of cash flow problems.

The deal will see the university use the building for lectures and courses and will mean the museum, documenting the life and works of DH Lawrence will reopen on Saturdays.
