Pictured is the Congregational Church in Eastwood, which used to have the nickname the ‘Congo’.
This picture was submitted by the Eastwood and District Historical Society, and is the oldest photo the group has.
The church was knocked down and the Iceland store now stands in its place. John Stanger, a member of the history group, said the photo was taken in the late 1800s.
The two houses you can see to the right of the photo were also knocked down.
